Paterno Biography Says He Cried, Powerball Winners, PECO Smart Meter Program Shut Down After Fires

According to a new biography, former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno cried while addressing his assistant coaches after Joe Pa was fired as a result of the Jerry Sandusky scandal. According to the book, Paterno told his son he spent his whole life trying to make his name mean something. And then it was gone.

The big Powerball jackpot winning ticket was sold in Michigan. With the frenzy of ticket sales this week the jackpot grew to $337 million. There were two winning tickets sold in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, each worth $1 million. Check your ticket. The winning Powerball numbers were 6-27-46-51 and 56. The Powerball number was 21

PECO's Smart Meters, thermostats designed to help reduce energy consumption are malfunctioning, generating complaints from residents and businesses and have even caused fires. PECO is immediately shutting down installation of the meters and is issuing warnings to anyone with a Smart Meter. If you would like yours inspected, call PECO at 855-741-9011.
