NFL Films President and Sports broadcasting pioneer Steve Sabol has died after an 18 month battle with brain cancer. Sabol and his father started NFL Films in 1962 working out of a small office at 13th and Vine in Philadelphia. Sabol was 69 years old.

The Made in America Concert on the Parkway in Philadelphia cost city taxpayers over $500,000 and it's up to the concert promoter, Live Nation, to pay it back. The costs include expenses for police overtime, use of Fairmount Park, emergency services, sanitation and more. So far Live Nation has paid $200,000. Mayor Nutter says that he will tell us the actual expenses "very shortly." The initial contract has been released and it does seem that Live Nation should be responsible for paying most if not all the costs including repairing damage.

Fallen Plymouth Township Police Officer, Brad Fox is being laid to rest today. Fox served two tours as a US Marine and was shot and killed by a hit and run driver last week. Officer Fox and his K-9 partner were both shot by the suspect before the suspect turned the gun on himself. Fox's K-9, Nick is recovering and attended the services for Officer Fox today.
