The shooter sought by police in Wednesday's SEPTA Broad Street Subway shooting was turned into police Thursday afternoon by his parents. The 15-year-old will face charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and other crimes. Surveillance footage shows a male firing a gun into a crowded subway car at around 2 pm at the Susquehanna-Dauphin station in North Philadelphia. A 17-year-old was hit in the arm and a 14-year-old was struck in the leg. The shooting occurred as the culmination of a fight that was on-going on the train for a couple a stops along the subway route and stemmed from an earlier fight between individuals.

Wanted Blogger Joshua Scott Albert turned himself in today to Philadelphia police. Two weeks ago the DA's office issued warrants for criminal solicitation to commit murder, terroristic threats and harassment after Albert created various Facebook pages supporting two alleged killers of Officer Moses Walker Jr. and calling for the murders of Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams and Fraternal Order of Police President John McNesby. Those pages have been removed. His attorney, Lloyd Long III, says Albert's pages are protected by the 1st amendment, which protects even offensive and vulgar speech and that no serious threats or requests for harm were made or intended.
