NFL Referees Return, Streamlined Voter ID Process, Mitt Romney On Goal in Philly

The NFL referees are back. The referees' union and the NFL reached an agreement Wednesday night to end the three month lockout. A blown call on Monday night that cost the Packers a win got both sides pushing for a resolution. The NFL refs will be back on the field this weekend starting with tonight's Browns-Ravens game,

The new streamlined voter id process went into effect and long lines formed at PennDOT offices. Some waited for hours while staff dealt with the volume of applicants to receive an ID that will allow them to vote in the upcoming election. The Commonwealth reports that 12,000 voter id's have been issued so far.

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be in Philadelphia tomorrow for a fundraiser at the Union League. The polls show Romney lagging but the fundraising efforts are on target to meet or exceed goals. His day in Philadelphia is expected to net the Romney campaign $3 to $4 million. Mitt will also be visiting Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne. Mitt Romney in Wayne, PA
