Garrett Reid Heroin Overdose, Convent Thieves, Warehouse Fire Arrest

The Toxicology report was released today revealing what killed Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid's son, Garrett Reid. The county coroner declared it was an accidental heroin overdose. The DA added that a substantial number of needles and syringes were found in his room. The investigation is continuing to try to determine who sold Reid the drugs.

A thief has broken into St Gabriel's Convent in Gray's Ferry for the second time in two days despite the convent alarm sounding multiple times. On Wednesday, an intruder entered through a front window and got away with the nuns' food money, $150 in cash. Thursday, the alarms sounded again, however nothing was taken. The community has vowed to gather donations for the sisters.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has arrested a business owner in connection with the Kensington warehouse fire that killed two Philadelphia firefighters. Richard Knellinger, a furniture store owner is facing fraud and perjury charges. In the April 9th fire, a wall collapsed into a furniture store killing Lt. Robert Neary and Firefighter Daniel Sweeney of Ladder 10.
