PHILADELPHIA, PA - For the first time in its 51 year history, the 2012 Philadelphia Folk Festival was broadcast LIVE around the world via internet stream. This weekend, the Main Stage broadcast will be replayed in its entirety featuring Little Feat, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Trombone Shorty, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams and many more. Philadelphia based internet radio platform iRadioPhilly.com carried the live broadcast and will start the replay TODAY at 2 pm. The entire weekend schedule is posted at http://www.iradiophilly.com/conversation.php?idConversation=1389

Philadelphia Folk Festival Executive Director, Levi Landis commented, “Back in August, about 4,000 people tuned in to the live broadcast, but many others had no idea it was happening because we finalized it with iRadioPhilly just a few days before the event. We had so many requests to play it again and we are thrilled to present the Folk Fest Flashback on iRadioPhilly this weekend.”

Listeners will hear all Main Stage performances in their entirety as well as behind the scenes interviews between sets with artists, organizers and concert-goers. Listeners can tune in Friday, Saturday and Sunday to relive all three days of this year’s amazing lineup.
