Today is one of the busiest travel days of the year as families move to each other to celebrate Thanksgiving. AAA estimates that more than 43 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more between Wednesday and Sunday. Today alone, more than 100,000 people will pass through Philadelphia International Airport.

Hostess did not reach an agreement with its unions through mandated mediation. The munchies maker is meeting with a bankruptcy court judge today and plans to proceed with shutdown and liquidation. Production or Twinkies and Ding Dongs will end and 18,000 jobs will be lost. Several other companies have expressed interest in acquiring the popular brands from Hostess.

The 76 year old man who posed as a flower delivery guy in an attempt to kidnap a Villanova heir asked a judge to reduce bail. Denied. The grandfather of 14, John Felder of Miami is a former business executive and founder of a Christian Ministry. However the judge reviewed evidence Felder had meticulously plotted the kidnap attempt and had a loaded .38 caliber pistol. Felder’s bail remains at $175,000.
