Earthquake Shakes Camden County, Suicide Leap From New Hope Bridge, Black Friday Shopping

An earthquake in Camden County New Jersey left a few people shaken early this morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 12:13 am. Tremors were felt in Lindenwold, Clementon, Echelon and Pine Hill. No reports of any injuries or damage.

A man jumped to his death from the New Hope Toll Bridge on along Route 202 on Thanksgiving Day. About 1:30 in the afternoon, police received a report of a man floating face down in the Delaware River. Rescue units pulled the man in full cardiac arrest to the New Jersey side of the river where he was pronounced dead.

Black Friday is underway. Malls and shopping centers are busy today around the Philadelphia region with shoppers looking for extra special deals on gifts this holiday season. This year, some retailers decided to start Black Friday a day early, on Thanksgiving, creating some controversy with employees and shoppers.
