Snow and Rain for Philadelphia, Kensington Woman Killed, Gift Return Tips

There is a big wet weather system headed our way. A large storm down South dumping snow and rain will hit the Philadelphia area as the day progresses. The system will start as snow to the north and west of Philadelphia, then become all rain through Thursday. Expect 2 inches of rain before it's over.

Philadelphia police are searching for a hit and run driver who killed a woman last night about 8:30 in Kensington. The unidentified woman described in her late 30’s or early 40’s, was walking on the sidewalk when a black car, possibly a Dodge Charger, stuck the woman and fled. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Today marks the beginning of gift return season. Clothing the wrong size, color or style for you may need to go back. To make things easier on yourself, return clothing with tags still attached, or at least accompanying garments to avoid fees. Electronics, toys and gadgets should be returned in their original packaging. Many happy returns!

Sports
Michael Vick will get the start for the Eagles’ season finale against the Giants. Nick Foles injured his hand last week.

Weather
Snow changing to heavy rain mixed with sleet in the afternoon. High 39 in Center City.
