A crash along the New Jersey Turnpike this morning proved to be deadly. It happened along the southbound turnpike near Exit 5 in Mount Laurel, Burlington County just after 10 am. Three people were killed and one was taken to Cooper University Hospital with minor injuries. The wreck involved two tractor-trailers and two passenger cars (a silver Toyota Camry and a Ford Edge). The three deceased are all members of family from Georgia, including a 51-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy. The fourth member of the family, an 18-year-old woman, survived with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Investigators are piecing together what led up to the tractor trailer rear ending the Camry. The turnpike was reopened around 2:45 pm.

A Code Blue has been issued in Burlington County and Montgomery County overnight tonight. The temperatures in the Delaware Valley are expected to dip into the 20's with high winds. The combination will bring wind chills into the teens. A Code Blue declaration is made when winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter. When a Code Blue is enacted it provides for short-term emergency sheltering.

A 22-year-old Upper Darby woman was brutally raped and assaulted on Christmas night by three teenage assailants. While waiting for her boyfriend outside a bar, the three men forced their way into her Jeep Cherokee. One was armed. They then drove her around the city for four hours while forcing her to perform sexual acts in the back seat. They eventually dropped her off, stealing her Coach bag and jewelry before leaving on foot. The woman made her way home and went with her boyfriend to police to report the crime. When Upper Darby police responded to another disturbance shortly after the report, they found the suspects with the stolen goods. Kevin Jones, 17, Kewon Matthews, 17, and Brehon Rawlings, 19, have been identified as her attackers. They are all being charged as adults with 42 counts related to the attack including kidnapping, rape and robbery. Rawlings is also facing a weapons charge.

Tonight, clearing skies, windy and cold low 27. in Center City
