Andy Reid Gone from Eagles, Fiscal Cliff Deal Closer, Woodbury Woman Murdered

The search is on for a new head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. After 14 years, Andy Reid is out and in a press conference today, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said that the team will consider many candidates, including those in the college ranks, NFL coaches and assistants and former NFL coaches. After finishing the season 4-12 this year and 8-8 last year Andy Reid was let go with one year left on his contract.

A deal to avert the Fiscal Cliff at midnight may be coming together. Details include tax increases for the top 2% income earners - couples making over $450,000 a year would pay a rate of 39.6%. Estates worth more than $5 million would pay 40%. The deal also has unemployment benefits continuing for one year. President Obama and Republicans are still at an impasse over spending cuts scheduled to kick in tomorrow.

Police believe the 41 year old Woodbury woman found dead early this morning is the victim of foul play. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office says Sabrina Bullock, found in a shed behind an apartment building, was murdered. Bullock was last seen Saturday and reported missing by her family on Sunday. An autopsy is not yet complete and no arrests have been made.

Weather
Cloudy skies tonight. 33 in Center City.
