The Philadelphia Eagles have ended their search for a replacement for fired head coach Andy Reid. After interviewing a number of college coaches and NFL assistants over the past few weeks, the Eagles were able to agree to terms with their top prospect and announced today that Chip Kelly, the coach of the University of Oregon Ducks, will become the new head coach of Philadelphia. Back on January 5th, Eagles' management sat for a 9-hour interview with Kelly in Arizona. Kelly seemed to turn down all NFL offers at that time and want to return to Oregon. Today, he changed his mind. Kelly was 46-7 as head coach in Eugene and is known for his innovative hurry-up style offense. Owner Jeffery Lurie lauded the fresh energetic approach he'll bring to the team.

Police are looking for two offenders in the abduction of 5-year-old Nailla Robinson and have narrowed their search to just a few blocks in West Philadelphia. The girl was taken from Bryant Elementary School on Monday morning by a woman in Muslim garb and walked several blocks to a home where they were joined by a man. She was told to remove her clothing, was blindfolded and restrained. The girl was found unharmed early Tuesday in a park in Upper Darby. Police are going door to door handing out flyers. The search grid stretches from Spruce to Christian Streets and from 56th Street to Cobbs Creek Parkway. (see below) The woman is believed to be around her late 20s, 5' 5" to 5' 8" and possibly pregnant. She had a thin build, greenish eyes and dark skin. The woman identified herself to the child as "Rashida." The man is described as light-skinned and mid-30s. He has short brown hair and was wearing sweatpants and a light blue t-shirt. Anyone who has information can call police at 215-686-8477 or 215-685-3251. There is a now a $10,000 reward. The Fraternal Order of Police is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
