Phillies walk off Win Cold Opener

The wait is over, the anticipation can finally burst, Phillies season is here. This season is probably the most anticipated season of our recent golden age of Phillies baseball, and for once it's not because of our All-Star lineup of batters, but because of... Pitching! A fully stacked deck of starting pitchers ready to deal joker hands to all other teams, at least that's what we all hope. All of this will end in the fall with the realization of our expectations and October baseball and a World Series parade.

But before we can bundle up and watch late fall ball, we need to bundle up and watch spring time baseball on April 1st. Mother Nature did turn off the steady showers and snow, but left the chill and the wind. Halladay had a decent start, 6 innings, a few K's, 1 run. Brett Myers shut down our bats to start the game. Luckily, and triumphantly we woke up late in the game, and all those players that we questioning filling vacated roles stepped up in the bottom of the order in the bottom of the ninth and led the comeback. Mayberry Jr.'s walk off RBI pinch hit single topping off the 3 run set.

Anyway, 1 win down, 161 more to go. Lot's more baseball ahead of us, we're only getting started. So now we are here and playing, what should we do, how do we look, what do you think? Let's talk about it....
