Philadelphia and State Police have released a sketch of a man suspected of stealing a safe with thousands of dollars' worth of property and an urn of ashes inside. The man posed as a city employee to gain access to a house on the 9500 block of Walley Road. Inside the safe was a coin collection, the deed to the house and the homeowner's deceased wife's ashes.

Charges have been filed against five Delaware County men in the murder of a West Chester man. Twenty four year old Jamal Ahmed Scott was shot in his car and robbed during a drug deal. After being shot by one suspect inside the car, another suspect fired three shots into the driver's side door. Scott apparently drove himself to Chester County Hospital but died after being transferred to Paoli Memorial Hospital.

An Upper Darby teenager is facing theft and assault charges for attacking a teacher with a hammer. Police arrested 19 year old Darlington James who allegedly entered Upper Darby High School yesterday through a back door. James reportedly pushed his way into a classroom and swung a claw hammer at a 32 year old female teacher stole her laptop and fled. Police caught up with him a few blocks from school.
