Dogs Shot by Neighbor, Protesters Disrupt School Meeting, Facebook Privacy for Job Seekers

Two family dogs have been shot and killed by a neighbor in Chester Springs. The Bernese mountain dogs, Argus and Fiona owned by the Bock family, got out of their fenced yard when a tree fell on a portion of the fence. The dogs ended up in the yard of neighbor, Gabriel Pilotti who has a pen of sheep. Pilotti grabbed his shotgun and killed the dogs with two shots. The DA is investigating.

Protesters demanded a moratorium on closure of Philadelphia schools. At a School Reform Commission meeting last night about 100 people disrupted the proceedings with bullhorns and signs shouting objections and raising questions. The SRC will vote on March 7th on the recommended closings.

Is it right for a potential employer to ask for you Facebook password so they can access more personal information about you during the interview process? Philadelphia Councilman Bill Greenlee says no. Greenlee says calls have come to his office from job-hunters claiming the practice is an infringement of their privacy. Greenlee has introduced a bill that would make it illegal.
