There were thousands packed into the square at Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. They were there to say goodbye to Pope Benedict XVI. Today marked the Pontiff's final public address before stepping down tomorrow. He was greeted by a cheering crowd and told the flock that loving the Church also means having the courage to make difficult choices – putting the good of the Church before ourselves.

Penn State negotiators have reportedly begun offering cash settlements to victims of Jerry Sandusky. There are 30 individuals claiming they were victimized by the former Defensive Coordinator under Joe Paterno. The most serious of the cases could get settlements in the millions of dollars.

Tredyffrin Police have arrested a man accused in a string of robberies including a Girl Scout Troop selling cookies. Thirty one year old Jevon Michael Avis allegedly hit the Girl Scouts outside a Pathmark on January 20th, then came back the next week to steal over $100 in groceries from Pathmark and snatched a purse while he was at it. Avis has confessed to the crimes.

Weather
Showers later. 37 in Center City.
