The last day in office will be low-key for Pope Benedict XVI. He will meet with cardinals and turn in some of his Papal wardrobe. Among those meeting with him is Philadelphia's former archbishop, Cardinal Justin Rigali, who is now retired and living in the Diocese of Knoxville. He is among the cardinals who will elect Pope Benedict’s successor.

A Philadelphia International Airport cleaning crew has helped themselves to a passenger’s ID and money using it to make purchases worth more than $1000 at the airport. All five have been charged, according to police, with ID Theft, Forgery, Theft and related offenses

A man fell onto the SEPTA tracks and was killed by an oncoming train on Wednesday, and police say the accident was caught on surveillance video. The fall happened in South Philadelphia at the Tasker-Morris Station around 7 p.m. Authorities say the man can be seen stumbling and falling onto the tracks as the train approaches the station.
