Winter doesn't seem to want to quit in and around Philadelphia. We can expect a mix of wintry precipitation today with light snow leaving a slushy coating throughout the area through Sunday morning. Temperatures will be in the mid-30's. A storm coming across the country early next week is also expected to start out with a similar mix of rain/snow on Monday, but will change to a heavy rain by Tuesday.

At least frosted lucky charms are magically delicious! Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Be sure to tune in to our special Saint Patrick's Day radio station to enjoy Irish music all weekend long.

A bus crashed this morning on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in central Pennsylvania carrying team members and coaches of the Seton Hill University women's lacrosse team. The 23 passengers included team members and 3 coaches on board the bus when it veered off the highway, jumped a guard rail and fence before hitting a tree just before 9 am. The bus was headed east bound on the turnpike between Greensburg and Carlisle when the accident occurred just past the Carlisle exit. They were on their way to a game at Millersville University. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and three passengers were seriously injured and helicoptered to Hershey Medical Center. Other injured were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. One of the three seriously injured has passed away, the condition of the other two is not known. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by state police, but no other cars were involved in the incident. Mlaker Charter & Tours, of Davidsville, Pa., the tour operator, is up to date with its inspections including bus and driver safety checks. They have also sent inspectors to the scene.

The driver who died has been identified as Anthony Guaetta, 61, of Johnstown, PA. The team's head coach, 30-year-old Kristina Quigley, of Greensburg died at the hospital. She had been 6-months pregnant and her unborn child did not survive. Quigley was married and the mother of a young son. This was her second year as head coach.

Seton Hill University is a private Catholic institution in Greensburg, Pennsylvania with around 2,500 students. It is not to be confused with Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. A memorial Mass is being planned for Sunday night on campus.

Two Police officers were injured early on Saturday morning when they crashed their cruiser in South Philadelphia while responding to a call about a pursuit. The officer's patrol car first hit a BMW before crashing into a parked car at South Third and Jackson Street just after 2 am. A 17 year old girl was driving the BMW and was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. The officers were taken the hospital to be treated for their injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it seems to have happened about a mile into joining a pursuit of another vehicle they heard on the radio.
