Dozens Ticketed on Kelly Drive; Made in America Coming Back; No Foul Play in Revel Deaths

Dozens of motorists were ticketed on Monday morning as Philadelphia Police conducted a major speeding crackdown along Kelly Drive. Police setup along the winding river side road just after the morning rush and pulled over anyone going over 50 mph in the 35 mph zone. After it was all said and done they handed out some 50 tickets. Not everyone was pleased saying they were just going with traffic, but admit something needs to be done on the treacherous road. Police warn that speed enforcement will not be limited to Kelly Drive but also equally dangerous Lincoln Drive and MLK Drive.

Jay-Z's Made in America Festival will be back in Philadelphia for a second time this year. The 2-day festival will wrap up the summer over Labor Day Weekend, August 31st and September 1st along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Last year's ticketed event brought thousands of concert goers to the city to enjoy a wide array of music acts between two stages and a dance/dj tent. The music lineup will be announced this Wednesday at noon. Stay tuned for details.

Police have ruled out foul play in the deaths of two people found in their hotel room at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City. A housekeeper found the 56-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman dead in their room yesterday at around 1:30pm. Sgt. Monica McMenamin says there were no signs of injury or forced entry into the room. Narcotics were found in their room. The medical examiner will release autopsy results after the investigation is complete.
