Investigators in Lancaster County are still trying to determine how a college student found along a road died. The body of 19-year-old Millersville University sophomore Kevin Chavez was found by motorists on Monday evening near a silo on the 1500 block of Silver Spring Road in West Hempfield Township. His car was parked nearby. Investigators say he could have been struck by a car in a hit-and-run or killed in an accidental fall. His cellphone was found on top of the silo. The autopsy revealed that he suffered multiple traumatic injuries but a cause of death hasn't been determined. Police are trying to establish a timeline of Chavez's whereabouts leading to his death. Anyone with information is asked to call West Hempfield police at 717-285-5191.

An 86-year-old man in Millville, NJ spent 8 hours fending off a would be thief in his home. The man let 46-year-old Kay Carty into his South Jersey home on Tuesday after she came to door asking for a glass of water. Once inside she tried to take items from his home, and was asked to leave. The two fought on and off for 8 hours until the man's son came home and found Carty on the floor pinned down by the man. The two of them were sent to the hospital with broken bones. Carty has been charged with burglary, assault and weapons possession.

A 17-year-old Lower Merion High School student is in custody at the Montgomery County Youth Center after he punched an assistant principal. He is charged with aggravated assault on a school teacher, simple assault, and harassment. The incident happened on Thursday at around 3:30pm, about a half hour after school. The student struck the principal as they were having a conversation. The administrator was treated at the hospital and released, he'll be back to school on Monday.
