An explosion and fire in Texas at a fertilizer plant fire has claimed the lives of as many as 15 people. The explosion leveled several blocks including a nearby nursing home in the town of West, Texas, about 20 miles from Waco. At least 160 people are injured and 50 to 75 buildings have been damaged.

Penn Wood High School in Lansdowne, Delaware County is closed after fires were set in multiple locations in what authorities believe is arson. Classes have been cancelled for the next two days. No injuries have been reported and the fires were extinguished this morning, however investigators are looking at possible break in points.

Authorities at Penn State have arrested a man for threatening to shoot people there. Thirty three year old Aarao M. Cornelio Jr. is being charged with terroristic threats after he was asked to leave a student union building where he had been sleeping. He was in the HUB-Robeson Center Wednesday and was heard making threats to people passing by.
