75th Dad Vail Regatta Opens, Kutztown University to Allow Guns, Gosnell Jury Rehears Testimony

It's a beautiful day for the start of the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta. Boat House Row activities are underway beginning two days of rowing events on the Schuylkill River with 128 colleges participating. This is the 75th anniversary of the Dad Vail in Philadelphia. Road closures on Kelly Drive will be in effect today and tomorrow for the event.

Kutztown University has lifted its ban of guns on campus. The Berks County School is one of 14 state-owned universities encouraged to re-examine weapons policies if they included blanket bans. The new policy allows students with a permit and compelling reason may carry a weapon. Weapons are still banned from campus buildings and athletic events.

The Dr. Kermit Gosnell jury has requested to review the testimony of a former abortion clinic worker. They want to rehear the testimony of Adrienne Moton, who admitted cutting the necks of ten babies, told to do so by Gosnell when the babies were moving. She also testified she saw Gosnell do it many times.
