Flyers set to take on Bruins; Philly uses a little History to Rally Support

Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs are set to drop at center ice tomorrow at 3:00pm at the Wells Fargo Center, with the Philadelphia Flyers taking on the Boston Bruins in a rematch from last year's incredible series in which the Flyers overcame a 3-0 deficit to win the series. This is a new year though, and the slate is clean. Both teams have just moved on from 7 game opening series' and the team that can play the strongest will probably have the most success.

Boston and Philadelphia are both cities that are rich in American history and the Flyers are using that history to rally support from the city. Today, in front of Independence Hall, Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, along with Joe Watson signed a Declaration that on every Flyers Playoff Day for the rest of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoff every Philadelphian should wear orange!

Also, on Monday May 2nd at 12:00 noon at the Moshulu ship along Penn's Landing, Flyer's fans can recreate history by dumping Boston tea in the Delaware river. Any fan who attends will get a free t-shirt!

However you choose to support the Flyers, do it with pride, and have fun. Let's Go Flyers!
