The girlfriend of Philadelphia Defense attorney A. Charles Peruto Jr. probably drowned after a seizure. That's what the Inquirer is saying according to their law enforcement sources. 26 year old Julia Law was found dead, floating face down in a bathtub. No drugs or alcohol were found at the scene. Toxicology reports are still pending.

A North Philadelphia food distributor has been sued by the FDA for improper conditions in the facility. The New Rich City Trading Corp. in the Fairhill section has violations dating back to 2011. The suit says inspectors found “the widespread presence of animals such as rodents, birds, cats and dogs, as well as animals’ feces and urine, throughout the facility including on and around articles of food.”

The New York and New Jersey Port Authority will pay $500,000 a year to operate Atlantic City International Airport. The 15 year agreement takes effect July 1. The South Jersey Transportation Authority has controlled the airport and never turned a profit. The SJTA says no employees will lose their jobs in the transition.

The Phillies try to make it three in a row tonight with the Boston the Red Sox.

Sunny and hot today. 92 in Center City.
