The Rolling Stones 50 and Counting Tour at the Wells Fargo Center on 6/18-21 at 7:30

The Rolling Stones 50 and Counting Tour really needs no announcement, however, here it goes. It has been over eight years since the Stones have come to Philly. They have added a second night on 21st in addition to the concert on the 18th. The rumor has it that Brad Paisley will warm up the audience. At almost all the shows folks have showed up to perform with the band unannounced. Taylor Swift,Katy Perry, Tom Waits, Gwen Stafani and Sheryl Crow have appeared. I've read that Sheryl Crow was on fire and just hits the mark singing with Mick Jagger. Not an easy accomplishment singing with maybe the greatest front man in all of music. The great Mick Taylor appears on four numbers and starts a fire with “Midnight Rambler”. I wonder who will be the guests to show up and perform, Hall & Oates or Patti La Belle? The show at the Wells Fargo Center starts at 7:30. Tickets are still available for both nights and I understand some have been discounted. The reviews by the fans so far have been 4.8 out of 5. The professional critics have been divided ; they were great; they were very good; they were very good but inconsistent; they were good to OK. I am going on the 18th and hope the fans are right. In the end the fans are always right, they buy the tickets. Joe
