The 76ers made some big moves last night in General Manager, Sam Hinkie's first draft. The Sixers traded away their all-star point guard, Jrue Holiday to get the sixth overall pick, Kentucky big man, Nerlens Noel. Noel was projected to be a the number 1 overall pick but slipped to 6 when he injured his knee. Still in the first round the 76ers took Syracuse point guard, Michael Carter-Williams with the 11th overall pick.

Cut-throat real estate sales agents in Lower Merion are in hot water with police for throwing dead animals on the property of a million dollar house for sale on Booth Lane that was not their listing. Security cameras caught Prudential, Fox, Roach agents Jonathan and Andrea Straub throwing dead mice and snakes onto a neighbor’s property, allegedly to sabotage its sale. The Straub’s house is also on the market.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has announced it will auction eight of its properties. Max Spann Auction Company will handle the sale which includes two schools and three convents on July 24th at the downtown Sheraton. The Archdiocese says proceeds from the sales will remain with the parishes. The list of Archdiocese properties to be sold at auction include:

Former All Saints School and the All Saints Convent, both on Thompson Street near Buckius, Bridesburg.

Former St. Bartholomew Convent, Harbison Avenue near Cheltenham Avenue, Wissinoming.

Former St. Michael Business School on 2nd Street near Jefferson, North Philadelphia.

Former Our Lady of Hope Convent in Tioga, on 19th Street near Tioga.

A 48-acre parcel in Plumstead, Bucks County.

A nearly 30-acre parcel in Harleysville, Montgomery County.

A one-acre residential lot in Rydal, Montgomery County.
