A double shooting last night near an elementary school playground in Olney left one man dead and another in critical condition. The shooting happened last night at about 11:30 on the 5800 block of North Fifth Street. According to police, a 21 year old victim died at the hospital and the second victim, in his teens was shot multiple times. Police are checking surveillance video for clues to the gunman.

A wedding crasher got away with a gift box full of cash and checks from the bride’s unlocked car in Lower Gwynedd Township Sunday night. The man was seen on surveillance cameras before the reception ended at the William Penn Inn in Montgomery County. A family member carried the gift cards to a car and when she returned a few minutes later, the gifts were gone. Police believe their suspect has struck other receptions.

Former State Senator Vince Fumo is nearing the end of his federal prison term, but now his children are filing a lawsuit against him. Allison Fumo, 23 and Vincent Fumo, 44 were in a City Hall courtroom testifying that they did not trust their father and accused him of trying to drain a $2.5 million trust fund set up for the children.
