Upper Merion Sexual Assault of Minor, Philadelphia Police Review by DOJ, Spanier Libel Suit

Upper Merion Police have a 47 year old man in custody accused of sexually assaulting a 16 year old girl he met at an Alcoholics anonymous meeting. Paul Corrigan, who police believe was a school teacher 5 years ago, was found with the girl at a local hotel after both his wife and the girl’s mother reported them missing.

Philadelphia's top police officials are bracing themselves for a report coming from the Department of Justice on police use of deadly force. This after Philly police met with the feds in Washington this week. The DOJ just slammed the Miami department and appointed a federal judge to enforce sweeping changes in Miami.

Former Penn State president Graham Spanier has filed a libel and defamation suit against former FBI director Louis Freeh who authored a report critical of Spanier for his role in handling the Jerry Sandusky child abuse scandal. The filing comes the day before the one year anniversary of the Louis Freeh report.
