Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of a Wawa in the Bustleton section on July 2nd. The suspect approached the employee at the cash register and asked for a pack of cigarettes. When the employee was completing the transaction, the suspect placed his hand in a blue bag simulating he had a weapon demanding money. The suspect got an undetermined amount of cash and is described as a white male, 5’10″-6’0″, 20-to-30 years-of-age. He was wearing a brown t-shirt, dark colored cargo shorts, blue and white sneakers, and a white baseball cap with black lettering on front.

Penn Medicine is hosting its first medical school camp for high school students from around the world. This is the third of a four week program where 55 high school students with a curiosity in biology and medicine participated in the camp at Penn’s Simulation Center at the Rittenhouse location. Many enjoyed the lectures on things like adolescent physiology and cardiology.
Virtual surgery exercises were also given the thumbs up by the teenagers.

A southern New Jersey couple has claimed a $30 million Mega Millions jackpot. NJ Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger announced Wednesday that Darryl and Judith Smith held the sole winning ticket for the May 31 drawing. She said Darryl Smith bought the ticket at the Vineland Truck Stop in Buena, which earned a $30,000 bonus for selling it.

Weather, July 25
