Democratic gubernatorial candidate Barbara Buono has picked labor leader Milly Silva as her running mate making the first all-female ticket in the state. An official announcement is scheduled in East Rutherford on Monday, the deadline for finalizing the ticket. Buono and Silva will face Republican Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, in the Nov. 5 election.

Police are searching for a driver they say struck a four-year-old boy in Germantown on Thursday.
Four-year-old Andre Wright was walking with his 14-year-old sister when he was hit by an SUV. The driver of the newer model Dodge Nitro did stop and get out of the SUV. But about three minutes later, he drove off. Police describe driver as a black male in his 60’s, and because he stopped, he may not face criminal charges.

Investigators confirm that a body found in the Neshaminy Creek Thursday night is that of the second teen who went missing while swimming earlier this week. The body of 18-year-old Perry Krewson was found in the water Thursday night. The body of 18-year-old Dan Tadrzynski was found in the water near East Bristol Road and Grove Avenue Thursday afternoon. Tadrzynski and Perry Krewson went missing after going swimming with a friend in the Neshaminy Creek at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
