Eagles Excuse Riley Cooper for Counseling; Woman Falls from 12th Story Penns Landing

Philadelphia Wide Receiver Riley Cooper has been excused from all team activities as he undergoes counseling and sensitivity training. He will meet with professionals recommended by the Eagle's organization. Riley has apologized to fans, family, friends, coaches, and teammates following the release of a video showing him using a racial slur at a concert in June. Coach Chip Kelly made it clear that Riley is not in danger of being cut from the team, but needs to personally address this issue first. There is no timetable set for his possible return.

Police are investigating the death of a woman who fell from the 12th story of a residential building on Penn's Landing early this morning. Investigators are still determining what happened but at this time they seem to have ruled out suicide and foul play. The unidentified woman is believed to be a 30-year-old dancer at a Delaware Ave gentleman's club who doesn't live there. She went back to this residence at the The Residences at Dockside condominium complex with a man earlier in the night. At around 4:00 am she apparently dropped her cell phone off the balcony. Security told her that they could not retrieve it in the middle of the night. At 4:30 she fell 8 stories to the 4th floor terrace. The woman may have been looking over the railing trying to see her phone.

UPDATE: The woman has been identified as 30-year-old Ngoc Tran Vo. She was a dancer at Club Risque on Delaware Ave going by the name of “Cherry." Investigators are considering this a tragic accident, but are still investigating the incident
