The Philadelphia Phillies lost tonight (or rather early Sunday morning) to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the longest game played in Phillies' history by time. The game went 7 hrs 6 min & had 35 hits, 19 runs, 28 walks, 32 k's, 20 pitchers and 712 pitches. A 10 inning scoreless stretch wasn't broken until the Top of the 18th when the D-Backs took the lead off RF Casper Wells. Wells, a former college pitcher, gave a valiant effort but couldn't get the third out. He took the loss. Sunday's starter, Tyler Cloyd, pitched 5 scoreless. Roy Halladay is now scheduled to start on Sunday.

A woman died Saturday evening after being hit by the Market-Frankford El. It happened at around 5:45pm on the eastbound side of the Allegheny station at Allegheny and Kensington Avenues. At this point SEPTA is not sure house the woman fell into the track area but Police do not suspect foul play.
