A four-alarm fire gutted a church in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia Sunday afternoon. The fire was reported at about 1 p.m. at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church. A tight-knit congregation is left grief stricken after the fast moving fire claimed their church only a short time after morning services. Fire officials say about 120 firefighters and 133 pieces of apparatus responded to the blaze.

Hundreds of cyclists took to the streets of Philadelphia for the 5th annual Philly Naked Bike Ride on Sunday. The 10 mile ride started off at Penn Treaty Park and went throughout the city. Some of the riders chose to wear decorative outfits and some opted for their birthday suits.

ESPN analyst John Kruk left the television booth at Dodger Stadium after becoming dehydrated on Sunday. Kruk was in Los Angeles for Sunday night’s game between the Red Sox and Dodgers. The Boston Globe reported he was taken from the press box on a stretcher. ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz says Kruk’s vital signs are stable and he’s in good spirits.
