More than 4,000 Union members attended a meeting yesterday where they voted to continue negotiating.

A college student from Perkasie, Bucks County died after being brutally beaten early Saturday morning while walking from a bar back to his campus at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia. Two suspects have been arrested. Kevin Figaniak, a business major and varsity lacrosse player suffered head trauma after an argument erupted into a fight. Kevin Figaniak was a standout athlete at Pennridge High School.

School teachers in New Jersey are back in class this week and for the first time, the state’s 100,000 teachers will be subject to new evaluation procedures.
