Gabe Pilotti Guilty, Stolen Coach Purses Recovered, Apple iPhone 5S Fingerprint Security

A Chester County man who shot and killed his neighbors' two dogs in February was found guilty of animal cruelty Wednesday. Earlier this year, Gabe Pilotti of Chester Springs says he was protecting his sheep from his neighbor's Bernese mountain dogs after they escaped their yard. But Hogan says Pilotti took it too far, killing the dogs; two-year-old Argus and one-year-old Fiona.

Delaware State Police say 85 Coach purses, worth about $29,000, were recovered after an early morning burglary at the Coach Outlet in Rehoboth Beach. Police responded after an alarm activation was received from the outlet store. Troopers located a black 2007 Mercedes Benz SUV leaving the shopping plaza and attempted to perform a traffic stop. Two suspects remain at large.

Apple's forthcoming flagship iPhone — the 5S — will be out next Friday, and it's going to let your finger do the unlocking in place of a passcode. That's a boost for those who believe biometric security is the next big thing. It's Apple's Touch ID, harder to hack and faster to work than traditional passcodes.
