Camden Bus Shooting, PA Same Sex Marriage Licenses, Seaside Park Boardwalk Fire

Police are now offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to a suspect who fired 14 rounds - one stray bullet striking a school bus with children on board in Camden Thursday afternoon. There were no injuries and all of the children on the bus are back in the custody of their parents.

A Pennsylvania judge today ordered the registrar of wills in Montgomery County to stop issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Without addressing the issue of the constitutionality of Pennsylvania’s ban on same-sex marriages, Judge Dante Pellegrini ruled that Montgomery County registrar of wills D. Bruce Hanes was acting outside his powers when he granted licenses to same-sex applicants, in defiance of state.

Hundreds of firefighters from all over New Jersey battled a large blaze Thursday on the boardwalk in Seaside Park, Ocean County. Officials say at least 20 businesses are destroyed on a six block stretch of the boardwalk, in a town that had to rebuild after Sandy. Several firefighters suffered heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation because of the blaze that started Thursday afternoon. The fire reportedly started at the Kohr Brothers at 1800 Boardwalk on the FunTown Amusement Pier around 2:15 p.m.
