Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a Rite Aid store manager in Chester Thursday night. 24-year-old David Wiggins will be charged with first, second and third degree murder and related offenses in the death of 40-year-old Jason Scott McClay of Broomall. Police were able to lift his fingerprints from the scene and witnesses identified him. He was Wiggins and a female accomplice entered the store at 9th and Highland with the intent to rob the store. They got into some kind of an argument with McClay who was filing in a shift. Then one of the suspects shot McClay in the head and fled. Police are still searching for the second female suspect. She is described as having light skin in her mid-20s, wearing a red hooded jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and grey sneakers. Wiggins is being held without bail. The Citizen Crime Commission and Perdue Pharma Company each offered a $10,000 reward bringing the total to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case. Anyone with additional information can call 610-447-8431. McClay went to Haverford High School and Delaware County Community College. He also served in the Navy.

The Ardmore Music Hall opened this weekend on Lancaster Ave with shows by The Holmes Brothers and The Billy Price Band on Friday and The Hooters on Saturday. It's in the site recently occupied by Brownies, but to many familiar with the spot's history its also the location of the 23 East Cabaret where bands such as Phish, Dave Matthews Band, and Red Hot Chili Peppers took the stage back in the 80s and 90s. The Main Line has been starved of a small/medium sized music venue since The Point disappeared in 2005. Depending on the configuration of tables etc. the capacity can be 250 or 600. It's super intimate with great views no matter where you are; at the bar, in the back, or up on the balcony. They have a craft beer selection and good food from Firinji. Upcoming acts include, Casey James, Cabinet, Fountains of Wayne, Johnny Winter, Rusted Root, Robert Randolph & the Family Band. AMH is a great addition to the tradition of music along Lancaster.

Police have arrested one man but seek as many as five more in a series of brazen ATM burglaries in Philadelphia. 38-year-old Dennis Woods was arrested in late August in North Wildwood, NJ. The crew uses blowtorches and cuts power and phone lines and sometimes removes entire electrical meters from buildings. They then come back later to get the money. They have hit 10 different banks in different sections of the city, however, only successfully breaking into three of those ATM. Wells Fargo is offering up to $10,000 in reward money for the arrest and conviction of those responsible. If you have any information you can call the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS (8477). All calls can remain anonymous.
