The man shot at Love Park yesterday has died. Police also revealed he was not a tourist taking pictures as early reports indicated. The 38 year old victim who was fired at eight times was a known drug dealer with a record of arrests on drug and gun charges. The shooting remains under investigation.

A Bucks County high school softball coach has been arrested for having a sexual relationship with a girl on the team. Thirty six year old Eric Romig, a coach at Pennridge High School and the travel team Sellersville Belles was picked up after the parents of a 16 year old on the teams noticed suspicious activity in their daughter’s text messaging and phone records.

Philadelphia police sergeant Thomas Winkis was arraigned and posted bail in connection with charges of driving under the influence after a September 14 crash that killed a Fishtown man. Winkis was driving a Dodge Challenger and hit a van driven by David Farries, a 55 year old father of four from Fishtown. Farries died 3 days later from his injuries.
