Pearl Jam opened a two night stop in Philly last night at the Wells Fargo Center. Eddie Vedder, wearing a black ROCKY t-shirt, led the band through a high energy three hour set totaling 34 songs. The more familiar hits weren't included, in favor of the more fan fave album tracks, plus songs from the new release, Lightning Bolt. Pearl Jam plays the Wells Fargo Center again tonight.

Pennsylvania’s second-in-command will spend the night in the hospital after an episode of lightheadedness Monday afternoon. A spokesman for Lt. Governor Jim Cawley said Monday night that his boss was being admitted for an overnight stay at a Harrisburg hospital as a precautionary measure, as he awaited the results of tests. His spokesman says the 44 year-old Cawley got a clean bill of health after a physical examination this past summer.

Bail has been set at $2.5 million for a suburban Philadelphia man charged with shooting and seriously wounding two managers at a strip club a few minutes after being told to leave. Montgomery County prosecutors said Monday that charges against 55-year-old Joseph Oesterle Thiers of Warrington, Bucks County, include attempted murder, aggravated assault, weapons charges and other counts.
