Victorino World Series Champ Again, Penn State President Vote Delay, Temple Prof Assault Suspect

Shane Victorino played a big role in last night's deciding victory as the Boston Red Sox won game 6 from the St. Louis Cardinals to clinch the 2013 World Series. The former Philadelphia Phillie had missed a couple of games with an injury. The Flyin' Hawaiian commented after the game that he just wanted to come back and play "little kid ball". Victorino's 3 run triple would be all the Sox needed.

Penn State has cancelled a meeting scheduled for Friday where the board of trustees had been expected to vote on a new president. The vote has been delayed indefinitely as the board meets privately to allow for further consideration of the matter. The new president will take charge of 96,000 students on 24 campuses, 44,000 employees and a $4 billion annual budget.

Police have identified the suspect in connection with the attack and robbery of an 81 year old Temple professor in his office on campus. Darryl Moon is wanted and considered armed and dangerous. The 45 year old suspect is well known to Philadelphia Police with a rap sheet that includes 16 arrests. Anyone with information should call 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Sports
Nick Foles has been announced as the Eagles starting quarterback Sunday against the Raiders.

Weather
Cloudy with showers later. 71 in Center City.
