An armed serial robber that held up 8 stores in Delaware County over the past 3 1/2 weeks has been apprehended. 29-year-old Charles Kenney was discovered by authorities from Tinicum Township at a Motel 6 with his girlfriend and his vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident. Kenney has been identified as a "major heroin addict." He robbed five Swiss Farms, a beauty salon, a Subway and a CVS in Upper Darby, Springfield, Havertown and Marple, according to police. His last heist was last night at a Swiss Farms in Marple. Knney first started out simulating having a weapon, progressed to showing a knife, and finally brandishing a gun in recent hold ups. This dangerous couple is no longer on the streets.

Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles made team history again following his NFL-record-tying 7 touchdown performance on Sunday. Foles was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Only two other franchise quarterbacks have been named the honor more than once in a season. Donovan McNabb received it twice in the 2000 season. Michael Vick garnered the honor three times in 2010 season on his way placing second in MVP voting. Foles threw 406 yards on 22-28 passing, with seven touchdowns and zero interceptions and a perfect quarterback rating. He also was named player of the week following the Bucs game.

Police in Elsmere, DE say that a teenager has died after being struck by a minivan driven by his sister and being dragged 100 feet. His sister is under arrest. 18-year-old Jesus Martinez died from his injuries Tuesday night. His sister 19-year-old Sheila Martinez faces multiple charges including manslaughter. Paramedics and firefighters spent 20 minutes trying to get Jesus' body out from underneath the vehicle. He sustained extensive injuries and was taken to Christiana hospital where he died. Around 1 pm on Tuesday the two siblings were in the minivan having an argument. Jesus got out of the car. Shelia, driving the van along Bungalow towards Kirkwood Avenue, then hit Jesus, made a U-turn and dragged him 100 ft before stopping. She got out of the van and ran home a couple of blocks away and took her mother's car. She did not report the accident but was apprehended a short time later. Sheila has been released from custody after being held on $25,000 unsecured bail.
