A Methodist minister has been suspended 30 days for officiating his son's same-sex wedding. Pastor Frank Schaefer was found guilty Monday of violating the United Methodist Church law after he officiated his son's same-sex marriage in Massachusetts. At the end of those 30 days, Schaefer may still have to surrender his ministerial duties if he doesn't reconsider his support of the LGBT community.

Two suspects have been arrested for setting a cat on fire on Sunday, November 10th in the Olney section of the city. Tyrique Hall, 21, and Jose Sanchez, 18, have been charged with Criminal Conspiracy, Possession of an Instrument of Crime and Cruelty to Animals. The cat, named Campbell, remains in the PSPCA shelter hospital and is expected to stay for at least another month to recover. The suspects could face up to 10 years in jail.
