Snow Forecast Again, Boy Falls to Death in Frankford, Ad Plan at Philly Schools on Hold

Snow is already a nasty four letter word this season and we have not even reached the official start of winter. Tuesday may bring another wintry mix to Philadelphia as two separate fast-moving clipper systems impact our weather. The first could produce snow changing to rain in the morning tomorrow and the second could produce some snow showers tomorrow evening. Temperatures will rise this week and on Friday, the last day of Fall the thermometer will hit 54. Downright balmy.

Philadelphia police are investigating the death of a 3 year old boy who fell out of a third story window. About 6 last night on the 1600 block of Foulkrod Street in Frankford the boy fell 30 feet to the snow covered concrete below. There were two adult family members in the apartment. The godmother and aunt say they did not see the child fall. The investigation continues.

The plan that would allow advertising on Philadelphia school property has been put on hold for now. City Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown decided to delay the final vote because of feedback she received since the bill was introduced. Brown wants to make sure the bill conforms with a related measure setting new regulations on all Philadelphia billboards.
