The fallout from the Jerry Sandusky scandal continues as the hearing for three people charged in a cover-up begins. The three are former Penn State administrators accused of covering up complaints that Jerry Sandusky was molesting children. Former President, Graham Spanier, Vice President Gary Schultz and Athletic Director Tim Curley are being charged with perjury, obstruction of justice and child endangerment.

UPDATE: The pre-trial meeting adjourned quickly this morning after about 20 minutes. it will reconvene sometime in January or February.

The Mega-Millions drawing tonight will be for a jackpot around $600 million, the fourth largest in U.S. history. If no one wins between now and the Christmas Eve drawing, the jackpot will grow to an anticipated $1 billion. While the odds against winning are astronomical, 1 in 258 million, you’re chances are even worse if you don’t buy a ticket. Is it worth $1?

UPDATE: The Mega Millions estimated jackpot has soared to $636 million, making it the second largest jackpot in U.S. history. Second only to the largest which was $656 million in March 2012.

Germantown Academy swim coach of 44 years, Dick Shoulberg, on administrative leave since October is coming back as coach emeritus for the remainder of the school year.
