Police say a man is dead, and two others were injured, one critically, after a shooting Sunday night in the Carroll Park neighborhood of Philadelphia. The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. on the 6200 block of Media Street near Felton Street. One of the victims, a 24-year-old man, was shot three times, once in the head, and pronounced dead at Lankenau Hospital. Police say they have no one in custody, or no motive for the shooting.

Police in Upper Darby are searching for a suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident Sunday night that left a 69-year old man and his dog dead. Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says Richard Patterson was walking his pet poodle when they were both struck on Providence Road near Arbor Lea Road around 5:30pm. The only description of the vehicle is that it was light-colored, and may have been dragging the front bumper as it sped away east on Providence Road.

Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Police say 18-year-old Ariel Manuel Martinez-Colon was traveling with his family along I-76 around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when he asked for the car to pull over. The family pulled the car over near the South Street Bridge and Ariel got out and ran away. The family was unable to catch up to him. Ariel suffers from schizophrenia and depression and may not be taking his medication. Ariel is a Hispanic male, 145 lbs, light complexion with short black hair, brown eyes, a thin mustache, beard and long chin hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white design on the front, dark blue jeans and an Adidas baseball hat. He only speaks Spanish. Anyone with information on Ariel’s whereabouts is asked to contact the South Detective Division at 215-686-3013/3014 or call 911.
