Trenton Mayor Tony Mack and his brother Ralphiel have been found guilty in federal court in a plot to accept payments in exchange for approvals to develop a downtown parking garage. Tony Mack was convicted of official extortion conspiracy, attempted extortion, accepting bribes, mail fraud and wire fraud. Ralphiel Mack was convicted on the extortion and bribery counts but acquitted on the others. A third party, Joseph "JoJo" Giorgianni, a restaurant owner, plead guilty in the case last year. The three of them were heard on phone taps frequently speaking in code about the cash payments. The entire deal was actually made up, part of a government sting operation. Tony Mack was arrested two years ago but continued to serve as Trenton's mayor. He becomes yet another New Jersey mayor to go down on corruption charges in recent years.

A routine traffic stop in Middletown, Delaware led to the discovery of a large amount of marijuana and two arrests. It happened around 1:45 pm on Friday along the Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway. A Delaware state trooper pulled over a 2012 Ford Taurus for speeding just south of the Biddle’s Toll Plaza. The driver, 25-year-old Marquis L Maddox, provided the trooper with his license and rental agreement on the car. He was not listed on the agreement and his license was suspended out of Pennsylvania. A tow truck was called and a search was conducted of the vehicle. Officers found a large box in the truck that neither Maddox nor the 30-year-old passenger Torrance Lomax claimed. K-9 indicated that there were drugs in the box. Back at the station a search warrant was issued for the box. Once opened, troopers found 26 lbs of marijuana inside. Maddox and Lomax, of Philadelphia, were both arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver and second-degree conspiracy. Maddox was also charged with speeding, driving without a valid license and driving without consent of the owner.

As of 5pm Saturday there are still 106,441 PECO customers that do not have electricity. Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks County were among the worst hit areas. PPL and PSE&G customers are for the most part restored.

Chester County: 47,425

Bucks County: 23,370
Delaware County: 6,218
