Chickie's and Pete's will pay over $8.5 million in back wages and damages to employees for illegally docking tips and failing to pay minimum wage and overtime. The U.S. Labor Department has been investigating on behalf of the sports bar's current and former employees. Chickie's and Pete's payback and fines will be shared among 1,159 employees.

Potholes. They are everywhere. Some are cavernous. Potholes are flattening tires, leaving a trail of orphan hubcaps and making every driving experience an obstacle course. Philadelphia has filled over 4,000 potholes so far buy more are popping up like weeds. Report potholes in Philly by calling 311. On PA roads call 800-fix-road. And in New Jersey visit the state transportation website.

Flood watches are in effect across the Philadelphia region today. Rain on the snow may create local dense foggy pockets so be careful driving. On top of up to an inch of rain, melting snow and blocked storm drains will cause ponding on some roads. You can help by clearing snow from the storm drain on your street.

Sports
The 76ers have the Dallas Mavericks tonight. Penn hosts Harvard.

Weather
Heavy rain at times today. 59 in Center City.
