The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has reinstated a priest that was one of 26 priests suspended following 2011's grand jury report into the sexual abuse of children in the church. Archbishop Charles Chaput has decided that 67-year-old Monsignor Joseph Logrip is suitable for ministry, citing "unsubstantiated allegations that he sexually abused minors over 20-years ago." Out of the 26 cases, eleven priests, including Logrip, were reinstated, while 14 were permanently removed from ministry. One priest died during the investigation, and one was charged.

Fifty restaurants competed in the 4th annual Philadelphia Burger Brawl Sunday for a chance to call their patty "the best in the city." Rob Wasserman, who founded the event, says they plan on making their biggest donation yet to the Philadelphia school district, surpassing $140,000 this year. The Brawl welcomed more than 2,600 attendees who paid for the chance to taste all those burgers. The winners include: People's Choice - Blue Duck and Judge's Choice - Avance

Philadelphia’s 26th annual Pride Parade took over the streets of Center City on Sunday and those who attended the festivities had a little more to celebrate than in year’s past. A federal judge overturned Pennsylvania’s ban on same-sex marriage in May - and at Pride Day - they celebrated this momentous event with 15 weddings. Pride Day culminated with a festival at Penn’s Landing which featured musical acts, a sports zone and many other events.
