R.I.P.

July 17, 2004---Johnny Winter the great blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and music producer passed away. He is on every list of top guitar players. The details of his death are not yet public. He put on great live shows and his powerful guitar will be missed.

LOOSE ENDS

1968---The Beatles animated movie “Yellow Submarine” debuts in London at the Pavilion Theatre. John, Paul and George attend the screening. Though the band performed all of the music, their voices in the movie were done by actors. George Harrison felt that actors would be better giving the film a “cartoonish” feel than the boys themselves. The film is credited with renewing the interest in cartoons.
