One of the women injured in the deadly carjacking crash in North Philadelphia has been released from the hospital. 69 year old Thelma Brown is recovering at home. The mother of the three children killed is still hospitalized in a coma. All were hit by the carjacked vehicle while selling fruit to support their church last week. Both suspects are facing murder charges.

A snake that is 12 feet long with a girth the size of a football is on the loose in Cape May County, New Jersey. The suspected python was spotter in a backyard in Villas devouring a whole seagull. Neighbors then had to save a cat from the snake. Cape May Wildlife officers have been searching and say it is likely a pet that someone released.

Consecrated virgins are gathering in Philadelphia. Dozens of members of the U.S. Association of Consecrated Virgins gathered Wednesday at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia offices to talk about life in advance of the formal convocation in Malvern next week. They are married to Christ and abstain from sex for life. According to the group, there are about 3,000 worldwide with 215 in the U.S. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has one or two.
